CM seeks immediate compensation to every family of deceased farmers, suggests to accord them the status of martyrdom, offering government jobs to their relatives and rolling back all FIRs and legal cases against them (farmers), also asks the agriculture minister be asked to resign.

Jharkhand's CM Hemant Soren defined the Centre's decision to roll back the controversial farm laws as having come too late. In reaction to Modi’s surprise announcement of repealing the 3 farm laws, Hemant told reporters that it came to him as "hasyaspad and durbhagyapurn . “

This announcement has come too late. First, you tried to suppress them, then throttled their throats, and when everything failed, you had been forced to take back the 3 laws. Now, the party (BJP) has began a campaign to propagate how great and sensitive the PM is. Hence, I call this line of movement unfortunate. But, the Centre’s flip is yet another testimony that democracy in this country remains alive,” he stated. Hemant demanded the Prime minister ought to immediately deliver Rs five crore compensation to every family of deceased farmers _ people who died at some point of the protests in the last yr. "Accord them the status of martyrdom, offer government jobs to their relatives and rollback all FIRs and legal cases against them (farmers),” the chief minister stated and suggested the Prime Minister offer compensation for crop losses to all farmers of the country. “Most importantly," he added, "the Union agriculture minister must be asked to resign,” he stated. Hemant agreed when requested if the Modi government's change of heart turned into induced by the upcoming Uttar Pradesh and Punjab assembly polls. "Certainly. BJP and numerous senior leaders of the party had realised that it was hurting them big time. Hence, they had been compelled to take back the black laws."
